Katie and Chris were married a year ago with a simple ceremony in a North Carolina hospital so her dad could witness her wedding. A year later they celebrated their first anniversary weekend with family and friends with a re-wedding party at a group campsite at Camp Hale. It had the feel of a wedding day (complete with ceremony) with fewer nerves since they were already married! We had a couple's portrait session at Mayflower Gulch a few weeks earlier, which also thinned down the day's timeline so they could get on to celebrating with everyone that much sooner!Yes, that dock is partially underwater. Thanks to this wedding party for being such good sports!A toast to her dad...Katie and Chris opted for an old tradition where you have your guests bring a cake to contribute so you have a stacked cake symbolizing all the love surrounding you...Cheers to their family and friends who helped with event styling and setup, coordination, officiating, cake-making and celebrating as well as to Alpine Party Rentals, Yellowbelly and Bloominous!
