Colorado calls to these two Kansans.  It was on a snowboarding trip to Crested Butte last season that he proposed.  They conquered Colorado's highest peak, Mt. Elbert, together last year.  Courtney has a simple love for the mountains, and Kyle is an avid hiker/climber and has achieved the summits of more than 20 14ers!  And this trip out was for an engagement shoot (and some hiking, of course!).  They insisted it was their joy to come out to Colorado for engagement photos, but I think it was a win-win.  I was stoked to work with them and to continue a photographic exploration of both Eagle and Vail...We continued on to Sylvan Lake State Park for some amazing fall color.  And the light we were working with that morning?  Loved it.Yeah, girl!We ended our time with a more uptown vibe, and I thought Lionshead Village in Vail was absolutely perfect for it.  It was chilly and windy that morning, but Courtney rocked it out anyway!Courtney, seriously.  Wow!  And Kyle?  Fantastic job on that gorgeous, sparkling ring...Thank you, thank you both!  It was an absolute pleasure to have you out.  Anticipating the wedding!
